ANON(ymous) tells the story of Anon, a refugee in America searching for his mother. They were separated when they fled to America – Anon adopted by a wealthy American family and his mother finding work in a sweatshop. Anon’s journey mirrors Odysseus’s in the Odyssey. Renowned, contemporary playwright Naomi Iizuka finds new interpretations of the epic voyage to create a stunning, evocative – and provocative new myth for our times.

Teen Company is open to students in grades 9th – 12th grades.
Company members participate in open workshops and auditions before each production to learn about the show, meet other actors and learn how to put their best foot forwards in auditions.
Interested young people should attend at least one pre-audition workshop and one audition. Come prepared to stay for the whole session, in comfortable clothing and ready to move!
Oddfellow’s audition policy is to cast every actor who commits to the show. Roles backstage are also available for interested young people. The Jr & Teen Companies are supportive, creative and welcoming groups where kids build skills, discover talents and form friendships while they meet the challenges inherent in making live theater.
All shows are directed by professional theater artists with extensive teaching experience, designed by professional designers and supported by Wesleyan students and early career theater artists. We do classic and contemporary plays with challenging themes and mount artistically ambitious productions.
A tuition of $250 is charged per production. This goes towards paying teaching artists and other production expenses. Families can apply for financial aid. Students can participate in our work/study program to off-set some tuition. No student is turned away due to inability to pay.
