Improvisation
11-13/ 6-8th Grade

During this eight week course students will learn all the basics of creating scenes from scratch. They will learn how to establish characters, environments, relationships, and conflicts all on their own without the aid of a script. Improv training benefits young performers, not only in acting, but in any venture of public speaking or performance. My goal in teaching this class is to rid my students of their fear of failure (failure being an essential inevitability in improv!), and in so doing, instill in my students a unique sort of confidence that can only come from improv training
