We’ve Been Challenged!

We’ve Been Challenged!

40th-for-fall-fund-drive-2016

As our 41st program year begins, we have a very special appeal for support that comes to you with a lot of excitement and gratitude.

Two Oddfellows alum, who have asked to remain anonymous, have generously pledged up to $50,000 in a 2 to 1 match of donations through this appeal!  This phenomenal opportunity will, as the donors intend, go far in helping to secure the Playhouse’s programming future and growing its base of support.

Can we count on your help to quickly meet this challenge?

In exchange for their generous gift, our donors have asked that the Playhouse’s black box theater space be named in honor of long-time Playhouse director, friend and supporter, Betsy Morgan.

After nearly two decades of leadership, Betsy returned as an interim director in 2014 and, along with us and the Board of Directors, continues to lay a solid foundation for growth, sustainability and vibrant community theater.  Your gift at this time will not only benefit our young people through programs but serve to acknowledge Betsy’s selfless and long-lasting dedication to our community.  If you know Betsy, you’ll understand that she does not like the spotlight but will graciously accept this honor to benefit the Oddfellows family.  If we are successful in reaching our goal, we hope you will join us for a naming reception to be scheduled this fall!

Please know that we are truly grateful for your ongoing support that has allowed our programs to so meaningfully touch the lives of Connecticut’s youth. The legacy of quality programs that nurture and inspire our youth will continue because of friends like you.

The entire Oddfellows Playhouse family thanks you in advance for your kind consideration and can’t urge you enough to please give as generously as possible now to maximize the benefit of this one-time special matching opportunity.
